okay, let me be serious for a minute. you may have noticed some of your favorite sites are down today, in protest of the SOPA/PIPA bills being proposed this november. they are under the guise of ending piracy, but by turning regulatory power over to corporations, which means new net businesses could be choked and forced out of business, or information flow could be blocked or prohibited or you could be sued over posting a video of you singing your favorite song. all while piracy software will sidestep the law again and continue. do research, learn about the implications. being opposed to these bills doesn’t mean you’re protecting piracy, it means you’re preserving the rights and freedoms of the internet. i think corporate america has too much control already, don’t you?
